Runners and Walkers:
Thank you to everyone who took a leap of faith and entered the first Thornbridge Outdoors 20. It was great to meet everyone and see you make the most of the day!!
Volunteers:
The event wouldn’t have been possible without the many volunteers who kindly gave up their time to support the runners, walkers and FOTO. Tasks undertaken were many and varied including: seeking permissions, baking cakes, branding coasters, staffing checkpoints and road crossings, marking the route, photography, sweeping the route, cheering at the finish, cooking the curry and the inevitable clearing up.
Volunteers included:
FOTO trustees
Thornbridge Outdoors staff - and some of their parents, partners & friends!
Centre staff colleagues from Sheffield City Council
A big thank you also goes out to Hazels Catering who very kindly provided the curry.
Landowners:
Thank you to the various landowners whose land the route crosses.
Sponsors:
Thank you to our kind sponsors for making the event possible:
Buffalo Systems for kindly providing the prizes.
Foothills for kindly sponsoring the race numbers.
Thornbridge Brewery for providing the beers for the finishers.
